Most engagements fit one of these archetypes. Many span more than one over time. Each starts with a 30-minute intro call.

01 — Fundraise-Ready in 90 Days

Strategic timeline, model, pitch, and target list — ready in one quarter.

Best for pre-Series A or B teams who know they're raising soon but don't yet have the artifacts that hold up to sophisticated diligence.

The first 30 days are diligence — read in, build a strategic timeline that aligns clinical milestones, runway, and capital events; build or refine the financial model; sharpen the investor narrative.

Days 31–60 are deck and target list — refine the pitch deck through review cycles, build the investor target list with named contacts, set up the data room. Days 61–90 are initial outreach, prep for first pitch meetings, and term sheet readiness.

02 — Embedded CFO / CSO

Fractional CFO/COO support, on a monthly cadence.

Best for pre-clinical or clinical stage companies between rounds, or post-Series B but pre-public — where senior strategic and financial leadership is needed but a full-time hire isn't yet warranted.

We sit alongside the executive team as part of the operating rhythm. Monthly cadence with the CEO, financial model maintenance, board materials, investor updates, BD support, IR coordination, project management.

Engagements typically run 6–18 months. The longer the relationship, the more leverage — by month six the model and the narrative are warm, and the work compounds because the same hands are doing it across functions.

Indication selection, sequencing, and development strategy — before the raise.

Best for pre-IND to Phase 2 teams deciding which programs and indications to advance, and how to sequence the data that de-risks the next round.

We build the target product profile and pressure-test indication selection against the competitive landscape, the science, and the financing math. We turn the development plan into clear go/no-go criteria and a board-ready narrative — so the strategy, the data plan, and the capital plan say the same thing.

Scope ranges from a focused two- to four-week sprint on a single decision to an ongoing strategy partnership across the portfolio. Pricing is structured accordingly.

Discrete project work for a specific question.

Best for boards, AMCs, F500 biotech, or PE-backed mid-market companies with a specific question — typically scoped to 4–12 weeks with a defined deliverable.

Examples: assess the future of a GMP cell-therapy core, decide whether to build or partner on manufacturing, run an external diligence on a target company, pressure-test a build-vs-buy decision, size a market for a translational program.

We work as outside expert advisors with no transactional incentive. The output is a defensible recommendation backed by primary research, financial modeling, and an opinion.
